We're going intercessor phase now?
SPEAKER_07Absolutely. We must be decisive.
SPEAKER_01Decisive, yes, but are we certain?
SPEAKER_07I thought you'd learned by now that sometimes one must go on without the other. We can't have it all.
SPEAKER_01I understand that well enough. I just don't see what you see in this matter.
SPEAKER_07The incoming foot traffic at that one quadrant's greenhouse and warehouse exceeds that going out. And we have reports that the workforce seems different in its methods every time the place is inspected. Even though the records are the same.
SPEAKER_01Not extraordinarily suspicious, but I suppose it warrants further inspection.
SPEAKER_07Ada, Ada, you used to be so much more vigorous. But now so tame.
SPEAKER_01Well, you don't exactly want to be skipping across a tightrope now, do you? I fear our tightrope is fraying.
SPEAKER_07If you're talking about our leverage over assurance and the rebels there, I assure you we've only tightened our hold. We're walking steadier than ever, and I think this green complex in the North Quadrant holds the key to our own little rebels here. You know what to do, of course. I know of what to do. Ada. A bit of advice in case your beautiful steel trap of a mind is going places. Yes. Stay above them to survive. No one is assured anymore.
SPEAKER_01I know, I know.
SPEAKER_07Well then!
SPEAKER_13Shaft! Get out of there! I got you. Almost shaft! Come on the ledge! Shaft!
SPEAKER_14Hey! Hey, lass! Oh! Oh! Let me just turn you over here.
SPEAKER_13No, it can't be. Sage! Sage! Get out here! Camden, keep it down! Appearances, remember? What is it? Who is have you got another bed and more supplies on you? I I think so. We can't just let anyone in though, you know that. It's not just anyone, Sage.
SPEAKER_14I'm fairly certain we've got ourselves a gearlock.
SPEAKER_03So about the guide, he's not well. I remember he was blind-ish, except to the visions of the veil. The what now?
SPEAKER_10The guide isn't called the guide for nothing, Quill. He always sees beyond our eyes, beyond our place, even beyond our time.
SPEAKER_03Psychic, huh? Crude way of putting it. No, more like our living book of guidance. Is he now? No one else can see what he sees. Now wait a minute. I came through here once and we approach his sanctuary. Quiet!
SPEAKER_05Please, after you. Think he can smell me?
SPEAKER_10Well, please be quiet. I don't remember the incense smelling this bad. And why is there so much smoke?
SPEAKER_04We've started making a new type of incense from the guide's visions. We have to burn it at all hours of the day, day and night.
SPEAKER_10Well, you should at least open the tent flaps every once in a while.
SPEAKER_02That would cause the visions to fade, Poppy.
SPEAKER_10It's Willow.
SPEAKER_02I'm sure it is.
SPEAKER_05It can't be for real.
SPEAKER_02Great guide! The peace of the mist be upon you! And also with you. The guide, I presume? Ah, the minister returned. Ah, you remember me, huh? Still full of questions yet bereft of answers, I see.
SPEAKER_10I promise you we come in nothing but peace.
SPEAKER_02I remember you too, a divergent sister.
SPEAKER_10Yes, well.
SPEAKER_02Have you returned to your people then?
SPEAKER_10Only to tell them that I've learned the truth. And to warn you.
SPEAKER_02One thousand miles on your home path keeps you straight. But a single step off of it, and you could lose yourself.
SPEAKER_05Cut out the poetry and listen to us. Well, you have access to the mist. An amazing tool of Ellions, and you treat it like a reality switch to flip on and off at your pleasure. Well, no more! Your lives are in danger now. Salvation's up to something right under us, and they have smoke on their side and the instant. Oh great!
SPEAKER_11And what did you?
SPEAKER_05I have Elion.
SPEAKER_11What has Elion brought to you? You have nothing to show but fam. You'll do best to reconsider your future.
SPEAKER_10So what? So we can cower in the ground like rats? You'd like that, wouldn't you? First all to hide in an artificial world while your smoke rocks away the real world around us? Elyon's power is so much greater than that. Willow, stand back!
SPEAKER_05I've got this. Look out. Come on, man. I can't see.
SPEAKER_10What's happening? Damn it!
SPEAKER_11Oh, Elliot. With a mere wave of my hand, I wouldn't do nothing. Do you think you have to think of me? Just because Elion taught you a few great.
SPEAKER_10Let him go. It's okay. It's over now.
SPEAKER_15What? what have you done? What did you do to my vision?
SPEAKER_10It was a lie.
SPEAKER_15No.
SPEAKER_10And it was all you had, wasn't it?
SPEAKER_15Willow.
SPEAKER_10You you used the mist. And I.
SPEAKER_02Heresy.
SPEAKER_10No. Just the power that's true, unlike your vision. Don't you all see just how real and close Zerug is? You've only welcomed him here with the smoke.
SPEAKER_15No, not the sensor!
SPEAKER_10It's mist or smoke, guide. You can't live with both. That goes for us all. The smoke is only mist from the other plane of life.
SPEAKER_02Isn't that just called death? It is as essential as the mist. They can cohabit if we accept them equally. It wasn't until you came here that this spirit of some sort emerged from something perfectly good and wise. You have incurred the very curses upon this sacred place that we worked so hard to avoid. What is she doing?
SPEAKER_04Willow? What's happening? Something's growing.
SPEAKER_10What? I call it a lily. Can smoke do that? Create something new and pure without taking over? Well, that's Elion for you. And that's us. We won't force our warnings on you, but you can see his power and decide for yourself to follow Elion.
SPEAKER_04We can't just follow, Willow.
SPEAKER_02We must learn first. And ponder. There's nothing to learn or ponder, except who shall come with me as my misting counsel. Come if you want the way of enlightenment eternally yours. Attendants, come, guide your guide and be blessed by the mist.
SPEAKER_10No, wait, where are you going? You don't understand. There won't be any turn or even any time for pondering. You're all in danger. We have messages from Elion himself about what to do and how to work together, right, Quill? Wait. Quill? Quill!
SPEAKER_03He's gone.
SPEAKER_12Easy now. Don't move and calm down. This will make things easier for the both of us. Hey! I've got her!
SPEAKER_09Let go of me!
SPEAKER_12Almost! There we go. Hips back in place. Good, isn't it? I took the liberty of cleaning other ones. Minor abrasions and bruises are all that's left on you. I hope you don't mind.
SPEAKER_09Who wants to know?
SPEAKER_14Believe me when we say we're friends, Briar Gearlock.
SPEAKER_09You're Terran.
SPEAKER_14I and a friend of Alion. Here's me, Mark on my arm. If you don't rightly believe me.
SPEAKER_09I don't understand it, and I still don't believe.
SPEAKER_14You know what this is? This tree. I have it, too. We all do. This should be the Blaylock tree. Gift to Alien's creators. And we're the remaining from old assurance. Come at your service below.
SPEAKER_09Wait. You're you're the 300.
SPEAKER_14So you have heard of us. Well, that's about what we tally to, I I still don't.
SPEAKER_09What do you know? The mist. My cat. Gone.
SPEAKER_14Believe us now, lass.
SPEAKER_09What did you say your name was?
SPEAKER_14Name's Camden. This here is Sage. Welcome to our refuge. Or, as we more lovingly call it, deliverance. We take the hidden remnant down here up to the surface. Because something's a coming. And we're taking you home too.
SPEAKER_09If you could tell me where that is anymore.
SPEAKER_14Oh, I uh uh now listen, las, I uh I didn't mean to I'll be fine.
SPEAKER_12Briar. I know what happened at the main station. You have a home here. As long as you need it.
SPEAKER_14It's not your forever home, but uh then again what place ever is. Let's uh now let's show you around a wee bit uh before the next group of refugees comes in.
SPEAKER_09Alright.
SPEAKER_12I think we'd best begin with the garden, huh?
SPEAKER_09I like that.
SPEAKER_00Ugh, I've counted the specks on the ceiling like three times already. Nurs Nurs! I'm not gonna lie here all day! Ugh. One spec, two specks, spec constellation. But mom?
SPEAKER_07Check again, sweetheart.
SPEAKER_00Dad!
SPEAKER_07Now come on, we gotta move fast and careful. Not just now, but always.
SPEAKER_00But why?
SPEAKER_07Because we're the most wanted in salvation.
