Any word from the scouts?
SPEAKER_01No, Tuff. You know it's just the same as before. The matter is being tested now.
SPEAKER_04You mean the blood?
SPEAKER_01Yes. It's truly all that was left.
SPEAKER_04Still no telling whose it was for sure then.
SPEAKER_01Not for a while, but I think we both know the answer to that. I truly am sorry, Tuff. I wish there was something else I could do. I know there's nothing I can say to make it better for you. When my husband died, everyone tried to help. They were all there for me. I thought they couldn't really care because if they cared, they'd know I didn't want them there. I guess I really didn't realize they felt as out of place as I did.
SPEAKER_04I didn't know you were married.
SPEAKER_01It was almost worth it. My work helped me cope, but I was different then. If you want time away from everything, I can talk to Copperton.
SPEAKER_04I can talk to him myself, Facade! Now do you want something? My head's mention I'd sooner be alone.
SPEAKER_01Forgive me. I didn't know what to say this, but the foreman has requested you meet him right away. He says it's urgent. It shouldn't have come to all this, you know. But you know what I'm saying. So does the foreman, and so will everyone soon enough. I wondered since taking part in this bargain how soon enough would be, and I suppose it's here.
SPEAKER_04Just go on, would you?
SPEAKER_07There it is. Home. There's something different.
SPEAKER_13You're right. That music is giving me a headache faster than usual.
SPEAKER_07No, wait. The green and blue flags are down. Something's not right.
SPEAKER_13Oh, great. We've got two coming our way already.
SPEAKER_07My brothers! The peace of the mist be upon you. We come to seek an audience with your guide and with you all.
SPEAKER_09We bring the gift of enlightenment, a true- My sister, you left our path long ago. But I grew up in Pharaoh Tent. I'm still your- Those who begin the course sometimes do not stay the course.
SPEAKER_13Still remember, Poppy, we must be peaceable with those who fall away, even those who insist upon conflict. And there's the peaceable we were looking for.
SPEAKER_07Thank you, Poppy. Wait a minute. I know you. We both pass along this path? No. I know you from a game. We played together as children. You were my friend. Poppy? What is she saying?
SPEAKER_13I don't know, of course.
SPEAKER_07Damon! Molectant! We were in first lessons together.
SPEAKER_13I am Poppy, like the rest of us. We are unified as one people.
SPEAKER_07No, your name is Damon, and mine is Willow. It's not true. I know you know me too. The other kids didn't want to play with either of us back then. Not much has changed for me. We would imagine we were birds flying high into the sky over the treetops and past the border. We would circle for hours and hours, don't you remember? Poppy, we must keep the peace. Please, I'm asking as your friend of years pass. Forget being peaceable and tell me the truth. Aye. Something's happened to the guide, hasn't it? Something bad? What?
SPEAKER_09Peace! You strayed, sister, and our path must stay easy and lit with wisdom during this time. Your so-called enlightenment may well shadow the light of our plains. You will only darken the path. Now we ask that you leave us peaceably.
SPEAKER_07We're not going anywhere.
SPEAKER_09We have no place for wanderers.
SPEAKER_07Look, this may not be my home anymore, but you're still my people. And pretty soon, this may not be home for you. We just want to help because I am still one of you. I'm still Poppy. Besides, High Sister Cory always found room for a wanderer, didn't she?
SPEAKER_13That's not she's right. Poppy, keep peace. We're anything but peaceable, Poppy. What more can we lose now if not our guide? Wait. He's dead? No, not yet, at least. Come, I'll take you both to him. Won't be long to his tent. You'll find our camp is rather quiet nowadays. Music to my ears.
SPEAKER_06Come in. Tough. Glad to see you got my message. Come in. Please have a seat.
SPEAKER_04I'd rather not.
SPEAKER_06Suit yourself. I heard what happened at the station. It's a terrible business, I know. I wanted to see you as soon as possible to make sure you were alright.
SPEAKER_04I'm fine.
SPEAKER_06Good. These types of things can happen, and I wouldn't want to lose your capable efforts to any further distraction than you've had as of late. Hopefully, this will have remedied your inhibitions. Despite the discomfort of the temporal silver lining, I wouldn't keep talking. Don't interrupt me when I'm speaking tough. We have a pressing.
SPEAKER_04You might have Ada trained nicely. But I'm a terrible. And I wouldna keep talking if I were you.
SPEAKER_06Yes. Well, you're not. The deaths of your grandchildren were a terrible loss. But it's a symptom of a bigger problem that we face. If you say another word, we have to keep moving on.
SPEAKER_02How dare you raise your hand against me? He who created this city for your people. You deal with one a traitor, another a temperamental brat, and you an old doctrine fool.
SPEAKER_04We're done here.
SPEAKER_03Attention, carriage E-8.
SPEAKER_14We are approaching your designated station.
SPEAKER_06Finally.
SPEAKER_14All patients are to remain within their designated sector unless instructed by a guard, nurse, or the doctor himself.
SPEAKER_06Patience? Leave it to me to catch the infirmary car.
SPEAKER_12Excuse me, sir. Did you say you caught the wrong train?
SPEAKER_06I it depends where it's going. I knew around here.
SPEAKER_12Well, we all are, son. We're going to the oh, what was it? Reconditioning! Not all of us got to be salvationites. That's what the doctor said.
SPEAKER_06You're sick. Seems like a pretty healthy bunch here to me.
SPEAKER_12Sickness isn't all in the body, son.
SPEAKER_06I see. But where are we going?
SPEAKER_13No more than two lines! Two lines! Foil out!
SPEAKER_12Listen for your name and treatment ward of the speaker in the station. Two lines, please! Excuse me, guard. Wait, no. I think this poor man got on the wrong train. The line out of my way!
SPEAKER_06Out of my way! Get out of my way! Move!
SPEAKER_11Can the anchor ward four? Master Allen, ward seven.
SPEAKER_06Move! Easy there! Sorry, sorry, by titans. Is this a hospital or a terminal? You oughta know. You signed up for it. I I did.
SPEAKER_14I did did, I did, yes, and did you? Mm-hmm. Was a soldier back in the old assurance valley days. Then throwing in a famine up there. That'll do things to you.
SPEAKER_10Kurt Bink, Mort 2. Sheena Blink, Mort 7.
SPEAKER_14They'll be calling my name here soon.
SPEAKER_10Holly's brought, Mort 4.
SPEAKER_14There I am.
SPEAKER_10Raleigh Brandon, Ward 4.
SPEAKER_14Raleigh! Let you yes, yes, where do I go? Be easy there, buddy. Come along with me. We'll get ourselves fixed up together. That or lost.
SPEAKER_00Welcome to ward four, gentlemen. May I take your names?
SPEAKER_14All in the rock. I'd like to get in and get out, if you please.
SPEAKER_00Oh, here you are. I'm afraid we have someone in already, sir. You'll have to wait. These are delicate procedures that can't be rushed.
SPEAKER_14Can't just go into another ward, huh?
SPEAKER_00No, sir. Every ward is specific. And your name, sir?
SPEAKER_06Rowley Brandon.
SPEAKER_00Let me see. That can't be right.
SPEAKER_06What do you mean?
SPEAKER_00You can't be Rowley Brandon. She's in there, undergoing the procedure right now.
SPEAKER_14What's that, man? Rowley!
SPEAKER_00No, stay back! You can't go in there!
SPEAKER_06What are you doing to her?
SPEAKER_05What have you done? So sorry, Dr. Withers. I just I wouldn't touch her if I were you.
unknownNo. No, no, no.
SPEAKER_05Rowley. Rowley. Can you hear me? What's he done? Care to see. If you hurt her. What little face.
